This Privacy Policy explains how Meg Richichi, MS, LAc (“Meg Richichi,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit megrichichi.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

- Contact and booking details such as your name, email address and phone number, when you fill out a form, book a call or email us.
- Email sign-ups when you request the free book chapter or join our mailing list.
- Anything you choose to write in a form or message. Please do not send detailed medical information through the Site or by email. See “Health information” below.

When you browse the Site, our analytics tools collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on page, clicks, scrolls and the site that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics, session recordings, spam protection and to remember things like whether you have already seen a pop-up. Health information
The Site is not designed to receive protected health information. Information you send through Site forms or by email is not handled as part of a medical record. Once you become a client, your health information is handled under our separate client privacy and intake practices, which we share with you when you enroll.
How long we keep information
We keep contact and booking information for as long as needed to respond to you and provide services, and mailing-list data until you unsubscribe. Records we are legally required to keep, such as payment, tax and client records, are kept for the period required by U.S. federal and state law and then securely deleted.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing megrichichi@gmail.com.
- Depending on where you live, such as California, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will respond to verified requests as those laws require.
Children
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No website or email transmission is completely secure.
